PHILADELPHIA -- Senior Allison Outerbridge finished second in the college section of the triple jump to lead the way for Tennessee on Friday at the Penn Relays.

Outerbridge, a native of Sandys, Bermuda, cleared a distance of 41 feet, 5.75 inches (12.64 meters), to finish just a quarter of an inch behind winner Ebony Brinker of Mississippi State. It was the second-best mark of her career and the fourth time this season she has jumped beyond 40 feet.

After the triple jump, the rest of Tennessee's competition Friday was focused on relays.

Emily Yarnell, Felicia Brown, Felecia Majors and Kianna Ruff finished the sprint medley relay in 3 minutes, 51.22 seconds. The time was the seventh-fastest in the top heat and ninth overall. It was the first time the Lady Vols had competed in the SMR this season.

The Lady Vols' 4x1500-meter relay team of Amirah Johnson, Chelsea Blaase, Kelsey Kane and Alexis Panisse finished eighth in 18:13.47.
