EUGENE, Ore. -- Tennessee sophomore Felicia Brown finished 10th in the 200-meter dash semifinals Thursday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
In her second career NCAA outdoor appearance, Brown scored her second-fastest unaided time of the season in 23.30 seconds.
She was third in the first heat and ultimately finished two places shy of qualifying for the final.
Looking ahead to Friday, Tennessee will have two student-athletes in action.
Junior Tavis Bailey will compete in his second NCAA discus championship, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Eastern. Sophomore Alexis Panisse looks to complete what she began Wednesday evening by running in the championship heat of the 800m. The women's 800m finals will start at 8:25 p.m.
Tennessee's championship weekend concludes with Cassie Wertman in women's shot put on Saturday at 4 p.m.
