- With just two weeks remaining until the championship portion of the indoor season, the UT track & field team will take on challenges at three different meets, sending contingents to the Tyson Invitational, the Samford Multi and Invitational and the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash.
- The majority of the squad will head to the Randal Tyson Track Center for the highly-competitive Tyson Invitational at the University of Arkansas. The Vol and Lady Vol pole vaulters will also head south to compete in the Samford Multi and Invitational at the Birmingham CrossPlex, while distance runners Peter Okwera and Hannah Davidson will make a trip to the Pacific Northwest to run in the Husky Classic at the University of Washington's Dempsey Indoor facility.
- The Tyson Invitational will run both Friday and Saturday. Okwera will run in the men's 5,000-meter, while Davidson will compete in the women's 3K and 5K on Friday and both pole vault groups will look to continue their early-season success on Saturday afternoon.
- Highlighting the 47-team field at the Tyson Invitational are 18 nationally-ranked programs, including both of the top teams in the nation. Meet host Arkansas has the top-ranked men's team and No. 4 women's team, while Kansas is the No. 1 women's team in the country.
