UT Pole Vaulters Featured In VAULTER Mag

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Tennessee pole vaulters, coaches, alums and even official mascot Smokey X are featured in this month's edition of VAULTER Magazine.

Gracing the cover of the 14th issue from left to right is women's coach David Job, former Vol and 2004 Olympic gold medalist Tim Mack, junior Chase Brannon, sophomore Michael Maira, junior Linda Hadfield, former Vol Robert Rasnick, sophomore Erin Champion, freshman Jake Blankenship, junior Tyler Porter, Olympic champion coach Jim Bemiller and men's coach Russ Johnson. Front and center between the squad's UCS Spirit poles is Tennessee's official mascot, Smokey X.

The picture was taken in front of historic Ayres Hall on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville.

The Orange and White returns to action in Columbia, Mo., for the 2013 SEC Outdoor Championships from May 9-12. New league member Missouri will host the meet at Audrey J. Walton Stadium.
