KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee track and field team announced 16 newcomers for the 2014-2015 season. The incoming class is highlighted by some of the top competitors from the southeast and includes 10 men and 6 women.
Four are in-state prospects from Tennessee and five are from Georgia, while Alabama, Maryland, Minnesota, Virginia, New Jersey, and Texas make up remaining homes of the six state champions that combine for a total of 16 state titles.
"Our class has the makeup to change us drastically, not just in terms of some outstanding high school performances, but the intangibles that these great young men and women possess," director of track and field/cross country J.J.
