BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Tennessee track and field senior Allison Outerbridge and junior J.R. Creekmore were named to the SEC Community Service Team, the conference office announced Monday.

Outerbridge, a triple jumper from Sandys, Bermuda, has been very active volunteer at the East Tennessee Children's Hospital. She also spent time working with the Emerald Youth organization in Knoxville. She assisted with the Run for Hope 5K and also took part in the Let's Move initiative. She helped with a holiday dinner for the Knoxville community in December and assisted with the Ronald McDonald House, among many other community activities.

Outerbridge recently graduated in May with a degree in nutrition. She is a three-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Creekmore, a cross country and distance runner for the Vols, is wrapping up his third year at Tennessee. In April, the Wilmington, Del., native earned the Volscars award for Male Scholar of the Year among all male student-athletes at Tennessee. Creekmore, who is majoring in materials science and engineering, is a two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member.

In the community, Creekmore participated in a workday at the Beardsley Community Farm in Knoxville and also participated in VOLoween, a Halloween event on campus.
