2014 - SOPHOMORE
• Picked up his first save of the season in a season-opening 3-0 win against Purdue (Feb. 16).
• Earned a four-out save - highlighted by two strikeouts - in a 5-3 win over Appalachian State on Feb. 19.
• Notched his third save in as many appearances over a six-day span, striking out the only batter he faced in a 8-7 UT win over No. 29 UNLV (Feb. 21).
• Blew his first save of the season against No. 29 UNLV (Feb. 22), but got the win as the Vols' walked off a 5-4 winner in the bottom of the ninth. • Recorded his fourth save of the 2014 campaign in a 6-5 win at Arizona State (March 8).
• Fired 2.0 shutout innings allowing only one hit and striking out two at MTSU (March 11).
• Picked up his second win of the year while tossing 3.1 shutout innings at Missouri (March 15).
• Recorded his fifth save of the season while tossing 0.2 hitless innings against Auburn (March 23).
• Has gone six consecutive outings, 9.0 innings, without allowing an earned run (March 5-23).

2013 - FRESHMAN
• Made 16 appearances, including one start, going 2-1 with two saves and a 5.60 ERA over 27.1 innings of work.
• Opposing hitters found him difficult to hit, as he led the team with a .204 batting average against.
• Had a streak of four straight appearances from March 9-16 in which he did not allow a single hit.
• Made his collegiate debut in Las Vegas, firing three innings out of the bullpen against UNLV on Feb. 16.
• Hurled four innings of scoreless relief in UT's 11-2 win over No. 20 Arizona State on Feb. 23, striking out two and allowing just two hits.
• Struck out the only batter he faced against No. 22 Notre Dame on Feb. 23.
• Made his first collegiate start against Alcorn State on March 12, throwing three hitless innings.
• Recorded his first career save in a 7-6 win at Alabama on March 16, coming out of the bullpen to get the final four outs of the game.
• Struck out the side in the ninth inning of a 10-5 win over Western Carolina on March 20.

HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Powell High School where he was coached by Jeff Inman.
• Named a 2012 Rawlings Southeast Region Honorable Mention.
• Was a 2011 Perfect Game Underclass Honorable Mention All-American.
• Tabbed to the Knoxville News Sentinel's PrepXtra First Team in 2011 and 2012.
• Honored as the District 3-AAA Pitcher of the Year as a junior.
• Was 7-2 with a miniscule 0.60 ERA, 97 strikeouts and just seven walks in 58 innings during his senior campaign.
• Went 7-3 with a 1.71 ERA and a 91:18 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 63 innings of work as a junior.
• Listed as a Top 1000 prospect in the nation and 12th-best player in Tennessee by Perfect Game.
• Also played tight end, linebacker and defensive end for the football team that went 11-1 in 2010 and 12-2 in 2012.
• Caught 19 passes for 254 yards and six TDs and made 30 tackles in his three years on the Panthers' varsity squad.
