HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Columbia Central High in Columbia, Tenn., where he was coached by Mark Pickle. • Was named a 2011 first team All-Mid-State selection, 2011 TSWA All-State Class-AAA, 2011 Rawlings All American and All-Southeast Region Honorable Mention, All-District 8-AAA (2008-2010), All-Region 4-AAA (2009-2010), 2010 District 8-AAA co-MVP and first team All-Mid State (2009-2010).
• Helped lead the Lions to a 28-9 record and a 2011 state runner-up finish, along with 2011 district, region and sectional championships.
• Hit .356 with 43 RBIs and 11 home runs during his senior campaign.
• In his junior season, he hit .292 with 20 RBIs and two home runs helping the Lions to a 25-15 record landing them a 2010 state championship appearance and a 2010 region and district championship.
