2011 - SOPHOMORE
• Pitched in 17 games in 2011, striking out five hitters in 10.2 innings of action.
• Did not allow a hit or a run in his first four outings of the year.
• Saw a streak of nine outings and 9.0 total innings without yielding a hit or an earned run to start his collegiate career come to an end against Ole Miss on March 25.

2010 - REDSHIRT FRESHMAN
• Did not yield a hit or an earned run his entire redshirt freshman campaign.
• Twirled 5.1 innings over five appearances, striking out three.
• Needed just one pitch to get the last out of the ninth inning in his collegiate debut, a 16-6 UT win over Xavier on Opening Day (2/19).
• Also posted perfect relief outings against Western Kentucky (3/9), Presbyterian (3/31), Western Carolina (4/7) and LIpscomb (4/13).
• Earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.
• Spent his summer with the Lima Locos in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League where he was 1-0 with 17 strikeouts and a 3.63 ERA in 17.1 innings on the mound.

2009 - FRESHMAN
• Redshirted the 2009 season.

HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tenn., where he was coached by Matt Buckner.
• Compiled a 22-5 high school record.
• As a senior in 2008, he went 9-0 with a 0.87 ERA and 72 strikeouts while helping the Bulldogs to a 36-5 mark and a state regional appearance.
• Bearden posted its best record in school history his senior year, and he earned all-state, all-region and all-district honors.
• Posted a 13-5 record and a 3.45 ERA with 92 strikeouts in 107 innings through his first three high school seasons.
• Played on the Knoxville Yard's 2007 16-Under World Wood Bat Association national championship team in East Cobb, Ga.
• Helped lead Bearden to a district title as a sophomore in 2006.
