2010 - JUNIOR
The Vols' regular third baseman, Duffy played in 55 of UT's 56 games in 2010, starting 53...Hit .304 for the season with a team-high 17 doubles, in addition to collecting four home runs and 41 RBIs...Was the team's leading hitter in SEC play, posting a spectacular .348 batting average...Hit .348 (23-for-66) with runners in scoring position...Tallied a pair of hits and three RBIs in his debut with the Orange and White against Xavier on Feb. 19...Added two more hits and knocked in two more runs in the series finale two days later...Went 0-for-3 at Oregon State on Feb. 26, but responded with a 3-for-5 effort with three RBIs the following day...Was 1-for-6 with a run scored in UT's 8-7 (10 inn.) loss to Eastern Kentucky on March 3...Recorded a pinch-hit double, the first of his UT career, against Kennesaw State three days later...Extended his hitting streak to five games with singles against Kennesaw State (3/7), Western Kentucky (3/9), MTSU (3/10) and Connecticut (3/13)...Saw the streak snapped against No. 17 Ohio State, but he picked right back up with a 1-for-3, two RBI effort against Marshall later that afternoon...Had a double and scored a run in UT's SEC opener at South Carolina on March 19....Added an RBI single the next day and a double versus USC Upstate on March 23....Went 3-for-8 with two runs, a pair of doubles and his first home run of the season in a doubleheader versus LSU on March 27...Tallied a 3-for-4 effort with four RBIs in a 25-6 win over Presbyterian College on March 31...Followed that up with two hits and a pair of RBIs at Ole Miss on April 2...Hit his second home run while at UT against the Rebels the next day to break a 2-2 tie in the fifth...Was 2-for-4 in the series finale in Oxford...Recorded a 2-for-5 effort with an RBI and two runs scored in a 12-4 win over Florida on April 10...Was 3-for-6 with a home run and a UT career-high five RBIs at Mississippi State on April 16 as UT rolled to a 15-13 win...Finished off that series with a 3-for-4 day with a pair of doubles...Tallied a 3-for-5 effort in the first game of a doubleheader against Vanderbilt on April 25...Was 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, his fourth of the year, in the series opener against Kentucky...Went 1-for-3 with an RBI, a walk and a stolen base in UT's series-opening, 4-1, win on the road at Georgia....Followed that up with a career day in a series-clinching, 25-5, win the next day, going 5-for-7 with three doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored.

2009 - SOPHOMORE
Was one of the top shortstops and hitters in the Northeast earning America East Player of the Year honors in helping the Catamounts to a third-place finish in the conference...Duffy led the conference in batting average (.388), runs batted in (57), runs scored (57), slugging percentage (.713) and on base percentage (.495)...He also tied for third in home runs (13) and was second in doubles (17)...Set new Vermont single-season marks in RBIs and runs scored and his 13 HRs tied the school mark...Duffy was the lone America East player named to the PingBaseball.com All-American Team, picking up honorable mention honors...Also headed the America East All-Conference First Team and was named to the All-New England First Team along with the ECAC and ABCA Northeast Region second teams...Was named America East Player of the Week a league-best three times, was twice named to the College Baseball Foundation National Weekly Honor Roll and was selected ECAC Player of the Week once...One of 38 finalists named to the Brooks Wallace National Shortstop of the Year Watch List...Hit .390 with 10 doubles, 6 home runs, 31 RBIs and a .779 slug pct. in conference games...Homered twice in two games, at Hofstra on March 21 and at Stony Brook on April 5...Both times he went 4-for-4 with five RBIs and one of his homers at SBU was a grand slam...Went deep seven times in the first inning over the course of the season...Went 5-for-5 vs. Toledo in Florida on April 13 to start a four-game stretch when he was 17-for-19 including 10 hits in 10 straight at bats, one off the UVM all-time record...Went 8-for-13 with three doubles, three home runs and 11 RBIs in the Stony Brook series...Had a great four-game series at Binghamton to close the regular season, going 7-for-17 with three walks, thre doubles, a home run and seven RBIs...His dramatic three-run homer with two outs in the 9th gave UVM an 11-8 win in the second game...Drove in four runs in three games in the America East Championship.

BATTING
One of the top freshmen in the America East, Duffy had an excellent season as the Cats starting shortstop earning conference all-rookie and Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American honors...Led the team and America East rookies in doubles with 18, the second most in a season at UVM...Tops among conference freshmen in RBIs...Hit safely in his first eight games and in 14 of his first 16...Also closed out season with eight-game hit streak...Hit .333 with a double and two RBIs in three postseason games and was selected to the America East All-Championship Team...Hit his first career homer at UMBC on April 5...Had a 10-game hit streak from April 6-18...Went deep twice in the win at Quinnipiac on April 16, the Cats lone multi-homer game in 2008

PITCHING
Made mound debut vs. Eastern Illinois on March 9...Picked up save in win over IPFW on March 12...Earned another save vs. Patriot League Champ Bucknell after going 3-for-6 with 3 RBI on March 13.

HIGH SCHOOL
A graduate of St. Sebastian's School in Needham, Mass., Duffy led the Arrows to a 13-2 record and the Independent School League title in 2007...Headed the 2007 Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team and was the ISL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year...He hit .542 with seven home runs and 21 RBIs...Also posted a 5-0 record on the mound including a shutout victory over Roxbury Latin in the ISL championship game... A standout for the Milton American Legion team, he helped lead them to the 2006 Northeast Regional Championship and a berth in the American Legion World Series in Cedar Rapids, Iowa...He was the MVP of the regionals and hit .485 with 13 RBI in eight games at the National World Series.
