SEMINOLE STATE COLLEGE
Spent two seasons at Seminole State (Okla.) College where he was coached by Jeff Shafer...Helped lead the Trojans to a 40-20 record and their 15th Junior College World Series appearance in 2009...Team then posted a 35-19-1 record in 2010...Tallied a 9-7 record on the mound in his two seasons...Also amassed 120 strikeouts in a total of 95 innings of work, good for an average of 11.37 punchouts per nine innings...Also hit .304 with a pair of home runs and 18 RBIs as a freshman and had four longballs and 11 RBIs during his sophomore campaign.
