2013 - JUNIOR
Suffered a loss in his season debut, allowing two runs on one hit and a walk at UNLV on Feb. 15. Followed that up with four consecutive scoreless outings from Feb. 17-March 12, capped off by three shutout innings in a 4-0 win over Western Kentucky.
Also posted a shutout inning at UNLV on Feb. 17 and against ETSU on Feb. 26 before firing 2.1 scoreless in a 6-4 win over UMass on March 2, during that streak.
2012 - SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 23 games in his sophomore season for the Vols, including three starts. Finished with a team-high five wins and a 4.66 ERA, while holding opposing hitters to a .269 batting average over 36.2 innings of work.
Fired the only complete game by a Tennessee pitcher in 2012, going 8.0 innings in a 4-2 loss at No. 24 Ole Miss on May 11.
Did not allow a run in his first 11.1 innings of the year, spanning 11 appearances.
Also started against Vanderbilt (May 6) and Arkansas (May 17).
His five wins all came out of the bullpen against Western Kentucky (Feb. 21), FIU (March 21), Memphis (April 4 and May 9) and Florida (April 14).
Pitched for the Conejo Oaks in the California Collegiate League in the summer of 2012.
Was 1-0 with one save and a 4.71 ERA in 18 appearances, striking out 15 in 17.0 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .143 batting average.
2011 - FRESHMAN
Saw action 13 contests, going 1-0 with a 6.06 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 16.1 total innings of work. Made one start, allowing one run on five hits and striking out a career-high four batters in 5.0 innings to earn his first collegiate win against Alabama A&M on March 15.
Posted a scoreless inning of relief six occasions, shutting down Morehead State (3/6), New Orleans (3/9), Manhattan (3/12), UNC Asheville (3/30) and Alabama (4/14).
Struck out the side in the ninth inning to complete UT's 18-4 triumph over New Orleans on March 9.
Pitched for the Conejo Oaks in the California Collegiate League in the summer of 2011.
Was 2-2 in 17 appearances, including three starts, posting a 4.83 ERA and striking out 26 in 31.2 innings.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Calabasas High School, where he was coached by Ed Edsall. Started at first base and was the team's closer, going 1-4 with four saves and a 3.68 ERA in 14 appearances as a junior.
Was limited to just three innings as a senior after tearing his labrum in the first game of the season.
Played summer ball with the SoCal Cardinals from 2008-10 with whom he participated in the Senior Fall Classic in Peoria, Ariz.
Also played in the 2009 Junior Olympics with the Thousand Oaks Bombers.
