2011 - FRESHMAN
• Led the Vols in victories during his rookie season, compiling a 5-3 record in 23 total appearances, including two starts.
• Registered a 5.29 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 32.1 innings, while holding opposing hitters to a .281 batting average.
• Retired both batters he faced in his collegiate debut against Milwaukee on Feb. 19.
• Picked up his first career victory on Feb. 27 versus Canisius, allowing just one unearned run on two hits in 4.2 frames of relief.
• Notched his second victory in his very next appearance, tossing 2.1 innings of one-hit ball in UT's 10-8 triumph over Morehead State on March 6.
• Also tallied victories over Manhattan (3/13), at Lipscomb (3/23) and UNC Asheville (5/30).
• Suffered his first loss in his first collegiate start at Kentucky on March 20.
• Also came out on the short end against South Carolina (4/9) and at MTSU (5/11).

HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Siegel High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., where he was coached by Craig Reavis.
• Was a four-year letterwinner for the Stars, finishing his prep career with an overall record of 24-6 and 264 strikeouts.
• Best season came as a senior when he posted a 10-2 mark on the mound and fanned 96 batters.
• Was a four-time all-district, three-time all-region and two-time all-state honoree.
• Was named his team's pitcher of the year in both 2008 and 2010.
