2011 - SOPHOMORE
• Primarily a bullpen catcher for the Vols, saw action in one game as a sophomore. • Reached on a fielder's choice against New Orleans on March 9 in his only at-bat of the season.
• Later scored after a single by Matt Duffy and another fielder's choice by Wes Walker.
2010 - FRESHMAN
• Saw action in one game as a freshman.• Punched a single to right in his first collegiate at-bat against Presbyterian College on March 31.
• Later came around to score on a groundout by Drew Steckenrider.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Collected the "Most Coachable" and "Most Improved" awards during his senior season at Wilson Central High School in Lebanon, Tenn., in 2009.• Also was named district tournament MVP as a senior.
• Batted .368 with one home run and 21 RBIs in his final high school season.
