The Tennessee baseball team's game against Georgia Tech scheduled for Wednesday night at AT&T Field in Chattanooga, Tenn., has been canceled due to forecasted rain in the area.

The game will not be rescheduled this season, but the two teams hope to schedule another meeting next year at the same location.

AT&T Field is the home of the Class AA Chattanooga Lookouts of the Southern League. All tickets purchased for the Tennessee-Georgia Tech game can exchanged for any Lookouts regular-season home game this year, subject to availability.

The Volunteers return to action at 7 p.m. Eastern time Friday when they begin a three-game weekend series against the South Carolina Gamecocks at Robert M. Lindsay Field at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Senior Day festivities will take place before the Vols' regular-season home finale at 1 p.m. Sunday.
