Price Signs With San Francisco Giants

Tennessee's Scott Price signed with the San Francisco Giants organization on Saturday. Price played two seasons with the Vols hitting .324 in 90 games in Orange & White.

Price played both first base and rightfield with the Vols in his two seasons after transferring from USC Sumter prior to the 2013 season. As a senior in 2014, Price hit .285 with three homers and 29 RBI in 45 games, starting 42. He was the master of the walk-off for the Vols as he brought home the winning run several times late in the game. He had 12 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games.

In his first season with the Vols in 2013, Price hit .361 and led the team with a .358 mark in SEC games. He led the team in multiple RBI games (7), doubles (10), total bases (84), intentional walks (5), and putouts (372
