Summer Update (7/1): Senzel Spectacular Week

ALASKA BASEBALL LEAGUE

Peter Lenstrohm - RHP, Anchorage Bucs
Season: 0-2, 5.26 ERA, 11 G, 13.2 IP, 9 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 12 BB, 11 K
Peter Lenstrohm made four appearances and tossed 4.1 innings last week (June 24-30). He picked up his second loss of the summer, while allowing four runs on four hits and striking out three. Opponents are hitting .191 off of Lenstrohm this summer.

Bret Marks - RHP, Anchorage Bucs
Season: 2-1, 0.90 ERA, 7 G, 20.0 IP, 17 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 9 BB, 23 K
Bret Marks tossed 5.0 innings in two appearances last week (June 24-30). He was charged with his first loss of the summer (June 28) when he tossed 4.0 innings and allowed two runs on four hits and struck out six hitters. Marks also threw a shutout inning while allowing only one hit and striking out one on June 26.

Jordan Rodgers - INF, Matsu Miners
Season: .226, 16 G, 8 R, 12 H, 4 2B, 0 HR, 9 RBIs, 2-4 SB
Jordan Rodgers went 5-for-14 (.294) with one double, one run scored and two RBIs last week with the Matsu Miners (June 24-30). He posted an impressive 2-for-4 with a double, one run scored and one RBI performance to help carry the Miners to a 10-4 victory on June 24.

Nick Senzel - 2B, Matsu Miners
Season: .227, 18 G, 14 R, 15 H, 4 2B, 1 3B, 3 HR, 12 RBIs, 5-5 SB
Nick Senzel had an incredible week, going 7-for-21 (.333) with two doubles, three home runs, eight runs scored, six RBIs, one stolen base and two walks through six games with the Matsu Miners (June 24-31). He started the week off hot with a 3-for-4 performance which included a double, a home run, three runs scored and three RBIs. Senzel had a streak of three straight games in which he homered (June 24-28).

Kyle Serrano - RHP, Matsu Miners
Season: 0-1, 4.00 ERA, 5 G, 18.0 IP, 12 H, 13 R, 8 ER, 19 BB, 30 K
Kyle Serrano was charged with his first loss of the summer when he threw 4.1 innings allowing four runs, none of them earned, on one hit while striking out six for the Matsu Miners (June 29). He received a no-decision in his first start of the week, allowing three runs on four hits, three walks and striking out eight hitters (June 24).

Johnny Youngblood - OF, Anchorage Bucs
Season: .143, 15 G, 8 R, 5 H, 0 2B, 0 HR, 3 RBI, 11-14 SB
Johnny Youngblood went 2-for-8 in five games last week (June 24-30) for the Anchorage Bucs. The highlight of his week was a 1-for-3 performance with three runs scored and a walk during an 8-0 win (June 19).

CAL RIPKEN LEAGUE

Eric Martin - RHP, Bethesda Big Train
Season: 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 6 G, 6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 6 K
Eric Martin has appeared in six games and has yet to allow a run. He fired another scoreless inning this week for the Bethesda Big Train when he allowed only one hit and struck out one in the eighth inning of an 8-6 victory on June 28.

CALIFORNIA COLLEGIATE LEAGUE

Jeff Moberg - INF, SLO Blues
Season: .254, 21 G, 12 R, 18 H, 4 2B, 1 3B, 0 HR, 9 RBIs, 6-8 SB
Jeff Moberg posted a 1-for-3 performance including his fourth double of the summer for the San Luis Obispo Blues on June 18.

Tyler Schultz - C, LA Brewers
No stats have been posted for the LA Brewers.

Tei Vanderford - RHP, SLO Blues
Season: 1-1, 1.69 ERA, 4 G, 16.0 IP, 11 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 16 K
Tei Vanderford did not log any innings this week (June 24-30) for the San Luis Obispo Blues.

CAPE COD BASEBALL LEAGUE

David Houser - C, Hyannis Harbor Hawks
Season: .125, 11 G, 3 R, 3 H, 1 2B, 0 HR, 3 RBIs, 1-1 SB
David Houser appeared in four games for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks this week (June 24-30). Houser went 2-for-7 with one run scored, one double and three RBIs for the week. He posted a 2-for-3 performance with a double, run scored and three RBIs to help lead the Hawks to a 6-2 victory on June 28.

Vincent Jackson - OF, Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox
Season: .143, 15 G, 5 R, 5 H, 1 2B, 1 HR, 4 RBIs, 0-1 SB
Vincent Jackson played in six games for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox during week three of the Cape Cod Baseball League (June 24-30). Jackson went 3-for-16 with a double, three runs scored, one walk and one RBI for the week. The highlight of his week was when he went 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored to help lead the Red Sox to a 9-7 victory (June 29).

Andrew Lee - RHP/1B, Brewster Whitecaps
(Pitching) Season: 1-1, 3.37 ERA, 3 G, 16.0 IP, 11 H, 7 R, 6 ER, 4 BB, 13 K
(Hitting) Season: .278, 10 G, 2 R, 5 H, 0 2B, 0 HR, 0 RBIs, 0-0 SB
Andrew Lee went 5.0 innings allowing three runs on five hits and striking out three en route to a no-decision (June 28). Lee also added two hits, going 2-for-10 with one run scored and two walk at the plate for the week (June 24-30).

Drake Owenby - LHP, Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox
Season: 0-0, 7.36 ERA, 5 G, 3.2 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 2 K
Drake Owenby tossed 0.1 inning allowing one run on no hits during two appearances for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (June 24-30). Owenby tossed retired the only batter he faced during a 9-8 win for the Red Sox on June 25.

A.J. Simcox - SS, Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox
Season: .262, 15 G, 2 R, 11 H, 0 2B, 0 HR, 5 RBIs, 2-2 SB
A.J. Simcox went 4-for-13 with one run scored, one stolen base and one RBI through week three of the Cape Cod Baseball League (June 24-30). He posted a 3-for-4 performance to lead the Red Sox to an 8-6 victory on June 30.

COASTAL PLAIN LEAGUE

Josh Peterson - RHP, Gastonia Grizzlies
Season: 0-1, 5.79 ERA, 4 G, 14.0 IP, 21 H, 10 R, 9 ER, 6 BB, 13 K
Josh Peterson threw 4.0 innings allowing one run on three hits, while striking out four for the Gastonia Grizzlies on June 27.

GREAT LAKES SUMMER COLLEGIATE LEAGUE

Derek Lance - OF, Cincinnati Steam
Season (Batting): .256, 12 G, 7 R, 11 H, 1 2B, 0 HR, 2 RBI, 6-6 SB
Season (Pitching): 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K
Derek Lance did not see any action for the Cincinnati Steam this week (June 24-30).

HAMPTONS COLLEGIATE BASEBALL LEAGUE

Forrest Bramlett - C, Riverhead Tomcats

Forrest Bramlett went 3-for-15 with a double and one run scored last week for the Riverhead Tomcats (June 24-30). He posted a 2-for-3 performance with a double and one run scored on June 28.

Eric Freeman threw 1.1 innings allowing one hit and striking out two through two appearances last week (June 24-30) for the Muskrats.

NORTHWOODS LEAGUE

Trevor Charpie - RHP, St. Cloud Rox
Season: 1-1, 6.13 ERA, 9 G, 1 SV, 14.2 IP, 20 H, 10 R, 10 ER, 6 BB, 16 K
Trevor Charpie recorded had a rough week (June 24-30) for the St. Cloud Rox. He made three appearances, allowing seven runs on nine hits, while striking out four hitters through 4.0 innings.

USA COLLEGIATE NATIONAL TEAM

Christin Stewart - OF
Season: .500, 7 G, 9 R, 14 H, 7 2B, 2 HR, 11 RBIs, 3-4 SB
Christin Stewart had another incredible week for the USA Collegiate National Team. He continued his hot streak by going 7-for-14 with three doubles, one home run, five runs scored, three stolen bases and five RBIs for the week (June 24-30). Stewart leads Team USA in hitting with a .500 batting average and seven doubles through the first seven games. Nine of Stewart's 14 hits have been extra base hits.
