ALASKA BASEBALL LEAGUE

Peter Lenstrohm - RHP, Anchorage Bucs
Season: 1-2, 4.50 ERA, 14 G, 18.0 IP, 15 H, 11 R, 9 ER, 13 BB, 16 K
Peter Lenstrohm earned his first win of the summer on July 10. He fired 2.0 shutout innings of relief, allowing only one hit and striking out one.

Bret Marks - RHP, Anchorage Bucs
Season: 2-2, 2.07 ERA, 10 G, 34.2 IP, 31 H, 9 R, 8 ER, 12 BB, 41 K
Bret Marks made two appearances this week (July 8-14). He recorded one shutout inning on July 11, allowing only two hits and striking out one. In his fourth start of the summer (July 13), Marks allowed only one run on seven hits and recorded a summer-high 10 strikeouts.

Jordan Rodgers - INF, Matsu Miners
Season: .242, 20 G, 10 R, 16 H, 4 2B, 0 HR, 10 RBIs, 2-4 SB
Jordan Rodgers went 2-for-8 with two runs scored and one RBI in two games last week with the Matsu Miners (July 8-14). His week included a 2-for-5 with two runs scored and one RBI performance (July 10).

Johnny Youngblood went 2-for-10 in six games this week (July 8-14) for the Anchorage Bucs. He went 1-for-4 with a walk and one run scored during a 10-2 win for the Bucs on July 9.

Eric Martin - RHP, Bethesda Big Train

Eric Martin threw 1.0 inning of relief, allowing one run on one hit and recording two strikeouts this week (July 8-14).

Jeff Moberg - INF, SLO Blues

Jeff Moberg posted a 1-for-3 with two runs scored performance for the San Luis Obispo Blues on July 12.

Vincent Jackson played in five games for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League this week (July 8-14). Jackson raised his batting average 50 points by going 5-for-12 (.417) with one run scored and one RBI this week (July 8-14). The highlight of his week was a 3-for-5 with an RBI performance on July 13.

Drake Owenby made one appearances this week (July 8). He was charged with his first loss of the summer after he allowed one unearned run on two hits, walked one and recorded two strikeouts for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

Derek Lance played in eight games this week for the Cincinnati Steam (July 8-14). He went 8-for-30 (.267) with two doubles, seven runs scored and two RBIs. Lance started the week off by going 3-for-5 with two doubles, three runs scored and one RBI.

Trevor Charpie earned his third win of the summer by firing 3.1 shutout innings, allowing only two hits and striking out seven of the 14 hitters he faced (July 11).

USA COLLEGIATE NATIONAL TEAM

Christin Stewart - OF
Season: .357, 17 G, 12 R, 20 H, 10 2B, 2 HR, 13 RBIs, 4-5 SB
Christin Stewart played in four games this week (July 8-14) and went 3-for-9 with the USA Collegiate National Team. Stewart leads Team USA in batting average (.357), total bases (36), slugging percentage (.643), doubles (10) and extra base hits (12).
