Summer Update (7/22): Rodgers All-Star Week

ALASKA BASEBALL LEAGUE

Peter Lenstrohm - RHP, Anchorage Bucs
Season: 2-2, 3.52 ERA, 17 G, 23.0 IP, 18 H, 11 R, 9 ER, 15 BB, 22 K
Peter Lenstrohm made three appearances last week (July 15-21), tossing 5.0 shutout innings of relief. He picked up his second win of the summer on July 18, by striking out the side in the fifth inning of an 8-1 win for the Anchorage Bucs. Lenstrohm has not allowed an earned run in his last five outings.

Bret Marks - RHP, Anchorage Bucs
Season: 2-2, 1.89 ERA, 12 G, 42.2 IP, 32 H, 10 R, 9 ER, 15 BB, 49 K
Bret Marks made two appearances this week, including one start (July 15-21). He threw a scoreless inning of relief July 18, allowing no hits and striking out one. Marks received a no-decision after he fired 7.0 innings on July 21, allowing only one run on one hit and recorded seven strike outs.

Jordan Rodgers - INF, Matsu Miners
Season: .276, 25 G, 14 R, 24 H, 6 2B, 0 HR, 14 RBIs, 3-5 SB
After being selected to the Alaska Baseball League National Division All-Star Team, Jordan Rodgers had a huge week with the Matsu Miners (July 15-21). He went 8-for-21 (.381) with two doubles, four runs scored and four RBIs through five games. Rodgers also tripled and later scored during the All-Star game on July 20.

Nick Senzel - 2B, Matsu Miners
Season: .210, 23 G, 17 R, 17 H, 4 2B, 1 3B, 3 HR, 13 RBIs, 6-9 SB
Nick Senzel did not see any time this week.

Kyle Serrano - RHP, Matsu Miners

Kyle Serrano made his seventh start, July 19, going 2.0 innings allowing one run on two hits and striking out four to receive a no-decision.

Johnny Youngblood went 1-for-5 with a double in two games this week (July 15-21) for the Anchorage Bucs.

USA COLLEGIATE NATIONAL TEAM

Christin Stewart - OF

Christin Stewart played in four games this week (July 15-21) and went 7-for-13 (.539) with a double and three RBIs for the USA Collegiate National Team. Stewart leads Team USA in total bases (44), slugging percentage (.638), doubles (11), extra base hits (13) and on base percentage (.488).
