ALASKA BASEBALL LEAGUE
Jordan Rodgers - INF, Matsu Miners
Season: .265, 32 G, 16 R, 27 H, 7 2B, 0 HR, 14 RBIs, 3-5 SB
Jordan Rodgers and the Matsu Miners finished second in the Alaska Baseball League. Rodgers went 1-for-4 with a double in the two-game championship series (July 29-30).
CALIFORNIA COLLEGIATE LEAGUE
Jeff Moberg - INF, SLO Blues
Season: .283, 41 G, 33 R, 41 H, 6 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR, 21 RBIs, 14-17 SB
Jeff Moberg and the San Luis Obispo Blues finished third in the California Collegiate League. Moberg started the week off hot by going 3-for-4 with a HR, two runs scored, a stolen base and five RBIs on July 29.
Tyler Schultz - C, LA Brewers
Season: .295, 31 G, 17 R, 28 H, 2 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 13 RBIs, 4-5 SB
Tyler Schultz and the LA Brewers won the California Collegiate League Championship. Schultz made the All-Tournament Team by going 3-for-11 with a run scored and four RBIs.
CAPE COD BASEBALL LEAGUE
David Houser - C, Hyannis Harbor Hawks
Season: .169, 28 G, 7 R, 11 H, 4 2B, 0 HR, 10 RBIs, 2-2 SB
David Houser appeared in three games for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks during the final week of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Houser went 1-for-10 with two walks and one RBI.
Andrew Lee - RHP/1B, Brewster Whitecaps
(Pitching) Season: 1-3, 5.19 ERA, 6 G, 26.0 IP, 20 H, 18 R, 15 ER, 17 BB, 17 K
(Hitting) Season: .333, 24 G, 10 R, 21 H, 4 2B, 1 HR, 13 RBIs, 0-2 SB
Andrew Lee earned his second win of the summer in his final start of the summer (July 31). He fired 6.0 shutout innings, allowing six hits and recording two strikeouts. At the dish this week, Lee closed out the summer by going 5-for-17 with a homer, two doubles, four runs scored and six RBIs through five games for the Brewster Whitecaps.
Drake Owenby - LHP, Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox
Season: 0-2, 5.52 ERA, 15 G, 14.2 IP, 17 H, 10 R, 9 ER, 11 BB, 12 K
Drake Owenby made three appearances during the final week of the CCBL. He threw 1.1 innings and allowed one run on two hits, while walking two hitters and striking out three.
A.J. Simcox - SS, Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox
Season: .246, 40 G, 8 R, 29 H, 2 2B, 0 HR, 11 RBIs, 3-6 SB
A.J. Simcox went 5-for-14 (.357) with one run scored and one RBI through six games this week (July 29-August 4) in the Cape Cod Baseball League. Simcox started the week off on a great note by going 3-for-4 on July 29 against the Orleans Firebirds.
GREAT LAKES SUMMER COLLEGIATE LEAGUE
Derek Lance - OF, Cincinnati Steam
Season (Hitting): .317, 31 G, 23 R, 38 H, 6 2B, 0 HR, 11 RBI, 9-13 SB
Season (Pitching): 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K
Derek Lance finished the summer by earning First-Team honors in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He led the team in batting average (.317) and on-base percentage (.388), while finishing second in hits (38), runs (23) and stolen bases (9).
NEW ENGLAND COLLEGIATE BASEBALL LEAGUE
Eric Freeman - RHP, Laconia Muskrats
Season: 1-1, 4.23 ERA, 19 G, 27.2 IP, 33 H, 17 R, 14 ER, 11 BB, 24 K
Eric Freeman appeared in four games during the final week of the summer season for the Laconia Muskrats. Freeman fired 7.2 innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and recorded five strikeouts.
Trevor Charpie - RHP, St. Cloud Rox
Season: 4-1, 4.66 ERA, 18 G, 2 SV, 36.2 IP, 38 H, 19 R, 19 ER, 19 BB, 43 K
Trevor Charpie earned his fourth win of the summer after firing 3.2 shutout innings for the St. Cloud Rox on August 4. During the final week of the summer season, Charpie made three appearances, allowing no runs on one hit and recorded seven strikeouts.
