2007 Bruce Pearl Tennessee Basketball Camps

Day Camp
Campers will also compete in individual contests such as "Hot Shot" along with 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 team games. Teams will be divided up within each age group by size and ability. Each team will be coached by a Tennessee Basketball Camp coach.
Our mission is to expose each camper to individual instruction of the fundamentals of basketball in a positive and exciting atmosphere. We hope that each camper will leave a better basketball player.
Overnight Camp
They will have the opportunity to see demonstrations from Tennessee players along with individual instruction from the Tennessee coaches. Camp games will be competitive, with the goal of improving individual skills along with developing a better understanding of the team concept of basketball.
Resident campers will stay in an on-campus dormitory with 'round the clock supervision. Meals will be "all-you-can-eat" from the University dining halls. Don't miss out on this chance to learn from the best!
Shooting Camp
At the Tennessee Basketball Shooting Camp, campers will gain maximum repetitions of shots, along with first class shooting instruction with emphasis on technique. Coaches will stress the fundamentals of shooting the ball correctly, as well as proper footwork when receiving a pass. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in drills that Coach Pearl's Tennessee teams do everyday in practice.
Campers will stay one night in an on-campus dormitory and will eat buffet style meals courtesy of Campus Dining!

Camp Information PAYMENT: A
$50 non-refundable deposit must accompany all applications to reserve
a space for camp. Space is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve
basis. The balance will be due upon arrival at camp. REGISTRATION: Upon
receipt of your application, you will be mailed a confirmation with details
of registration. CHECK OUT: Check-out
information will be distributed at registration of each camp. MEALS: Breakfast,
lunch and dinner will be served by the University of Tennessee cafeterias and various local restaurants.
Meals will be "all you can eat" with a variety of selections. Commuting campers at Overnight Camp will be served lunch and dinner. Day campers will be served lunch only from various local restaurants. Plenty of drinks will be available to ensure proper hydration. ACCOMODATIONS: All
resident campers will be housed two per room in an air conditioned
dormitory on campus. If you have a preferred roommate, include the
camper's name on your application. We will try to accommodate roommate
requests received 10 days prior to the start of camp. If a roommate
is not requested, we will assign a roommate of approximately the same
age. COMMUTING: Campers attending the Overnight Camp who are not staying in the dorms should arrive at Stokely Athletics Center each morning by 8:45 a.m. and should be picked up by 9 p.m. Campers should come dressed and ready to play in gym shorts and t-shirt. Leave all valuables at home. Tennessee Basketball nor the University of Tennessee is responsible for lost or stolen items. CONDUCT: All serious violations, such as willful damage to the University's property or other behavior deemed detrimental to the group, will result in immediate dismissal. There will be NO REFUND of tuition upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. FACILITES: Tennessee Basketball Camp is held on the beautiful campus of Knoxville, Tenn. Thompson-Boling Arena will begin renovations at the conclusion of the 2006-07 season. Stokely Athletic Center, the Health & Physical Education Building (HPER), and the Goodfriend Indoor Tennis Facility will be utilized for camp activities. Campus Maps KEY DEPOSIT: There is a $30 room key deposit due at registration for resident campers only. The deposit will be refunded in full at check-out if the key is returned.
GRADE RESTRICTIONS: All grade restrictions are as of Fall 2007.
PHYSICAL: Campers are not required to have a physical before participating in camp. Only the forms included in the brochure are needed for camp records.
The University may postpone or cancel this event due to circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God, or public health emergencies.
