2002-03 (Senior)
Named to the SEC Good Works Team for the third consecutive year ... Ruled ineligible
to participate in postseason competition for failing to meet the SEC academic
requirements ... Appeal to the SEC’s Executive Committee was denied March
10 ... He was eligible to participate in regular season competition under
NCAA, SEC and University of Tennessee academic guidelines, but did not meet
the SEC requirements for postseason competition which is based on the 2002
fall semester. ... Scored his 800th career point in the Vols’ loss to Georgia
(1/23/03) ... Ranked among the SEC leaders in three-point percentage (7th
with 41.1 percent), three-pointers made (9th with 1.96 per game) and assist-to-turnover
ratio (3rd with 2.82)... Tennessee’s Iron Man by starting 122 of his 124

ratio of 2.10 ranked third in the Southeastern Conference ... Ranked in
a tie for sixth in the SEC for assists (3.94 apg) ... Rated 10th in the
SEC by converting 36.0 percent of his three-point field goals ... One of
just two Vols to start every game on the season ... Averaged 7.9 points,
4.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists in Southeastern Conference games ... Went
4-of-5 from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range to score
11 points in 28 minutes at No. 8 Florida (2/26/02) ... Had one of his best
games of his career at LSU (1/30/02) when he went 3-of-6 from the field

Played in all 33 games, making 32 starts ... Stepped into starting role after
Jenis Grindstaff was lost due to injury after the first game of the season

and 2.2 assists ... Tied for second on team in three-pointers with 53 ...
Excellent ball handler who made only one miscue every 23.9 minutes and
