Saw his first action of the season against Auburn (1/27/02) and turned in a strong
performance with one point, four rebounds and an assist in nine minutes of action
... Scored on a tip-in at No. 8 Florida (2/26/02) ... Returned to practice after
suffering a mid-foot injury that was discovered in mid-October ... Played in four
Southeastern Conference games, averaging 0.8 points and 1.3 rebounds ... Was not
able to practice from mid-October until early January ... Due to the injuries
was planned to redshirt the season but decided to remove the redshirt after Ron
Slay went down with an injury midway through the season.
