Tennessee picked up its 10th win at Coleman Coliseum, as the Vols own a 10-26 all-time record in the facility.
The Vols posted wins in just four of their last 22 games at Coleman.
The Big Orange won in their first-ever trip to Coleman, posting a 70-43 victory over the Tide on Jan. 25, 1969. The venue was then known as "Memorial Coliseum.
Tennessee also won at Coleman in 1970, 1971, 1977, 1979, 1981, 1998, 2008 and 2010.
Tonight's starters: guard Jordan McRae, guard Josh Richardson, guard Darius Thompson, forward Jeronne Maymon, forward Jarnell Stokes.
It was Stokes 63rd consecutive start.
It's just the fourth start of freshman Darius Thompson's rookie season and first time he started back-to-back games.
Thompson knocked down the first bucket for the Vols, a 3-pointer 58 seconds into the game.
The Vols' first six points of the game came from beyond the arc. That came on the heels of the first nine points of the game came off from behind the arc vs. Ole Miss on Wednesday.
ANOTHER DOUBLE-DOUBLE FOR STOKES
With a season-high of 22 points and 16 rebounds , junior Jarnell Stokes now has 30 double-doubles in his UT career (71 games). That leads all active players in the SEC.
With 30 double-doubles, he is now alone in seventh place all-time at Tennessee in double-doubles, surpassing Tom Boerwinkle (29). Next on the list with 31 is Reggie Johnson (1976-80).
He has posted a double-double in more than 40 percent of his college games.
Stokes, who now has 12 double-doubles this season, is averaging a double-double in SEC play.
He has double-double in six of eight SEC games this season including five of the last six games.
Stokes recorded his 16th double-digit scoring game of the season and 46th in his career.
McRAE MOVING ON UP
Jordan McRae netted 26 points, to move from 32nd to 29th place on the all-time scoring list at Tennessee. McRae now has (1,232) as he passed Ed Wiener (1,212), Tyler Smith (1,219) and A.W. Davis (1,225). Next on the list at No. 29 is Bill Justus (1,236).
It was McRae's 11th game this season with 20-plus points and 23rd in his career.
For McRae it was his 18th game this season in double-figures and 55th in 98 career games.
McRae has led the Vols in scoring for the 14th time this season.
RICHARDSON SCORES AGAIN
After tallying 16 vs. Ole Miss, Josh Richardson tallied 12 at Alabama. It was his 12th game in double-figures this season and 22nd in his career.
WIRE-TO-WIRE WIN AGAIN
After jumping out to a 9-0 lead, the Vols recorded their 12th wire-to-wire win under third-year head coach Cuonzo Martin.
It's the seventh time this season UT has had a wire-to-wire win.
It is just the second wire-to-wire road win for Tennessee under Martin. The other came on Feb. 25, 2012 at South Carolina, 73-64.

The Vols moved to 14-3 under Cuonzo Martin in the month of February for an 82.3 win percentage over the last three years.
Tennessee only lost in February once in 2012 and twice in 2013.
In 46 of the 88 games Tennessee has played under head coach Cuonzo Martin, the Vols have held the opponent to fewer than 30 first-half point.
Alabama scored 23 in the opening half on Saturday.
With the win, Tennessee improves to 40-8 (.833) under Coach Martin when leading at the half.
