The Vols had won the last two games in the series and four of the last five dating to 2009 prior to Saturday.
Tennessee's last win in Fayetteville came on Feb. 4, 2009.
DOUBLE-FIGURE GUYS Jarnell Stokes netted 18 points. It was his 12th time in double-figures and 20th time in his career including the last three games in a row.
Jarnell Stokes had his seventh double-double of the season and ninth of his career with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Stokes has double-doubles in his last three games and four of his last five games.
Kenny Hall had his first SEC game in double-figures this season with 14. It was his fourth this season in double-figures, but first since the Memphis game (1/4/13).
Josh Richardson tallied 11 points, his seventh game this season and ninth of his career in double-figures.
It was Richardson's first game with 10 or more in four games and second in eight games after three in a row from Dec. 21-Jan. 4.
REESE REBOUND HIGH Vols freshman Derek Reese grabbed a career-high eight rebounds. His previous career-high was four, done twice, most recently at Kentucky (1/15/13).
GOLDEN MISSES FIRST IN 60 Vols point guard Trae Golden missed the game with a hamstring injury. He had played 60 games in a row. It was the first game he missed since Feb. 19, 2011, vs. Georgia in his freshman season.
TAKING THE CHARGE Kenny Hall took two charges to give him eight on the season. Second only to Yemi Makanjuola's nine.
Skylar McBee drew his fourth charge of the season in the game.
WIth the three charges, the Vols now have 34 on the season in 20 games.
