For Starters

Tennessee's loss to Georgia snapped a nine-game winning streak at home against the Bulldogs.
Overall, the Vols have won 14 of the last 17 against Georgia and are 10-2 vs. the Bulldogs during the Bruce Pearl era.

The Vols fell to 15-5 when Scotty Hopson scores 15 points or more. Hopson finished with a career-high 32 points.
Today's attendance of 20,462 marked the fourth time the Vols have hosted 20,000- plus fans inside Thompson-Boling Arena this season.

Miscellaneous Between the 16:47 and 9:03 (7:44) marks of the first half, Georgia went on a 17-0 run to lead 22-7. UT answered by holding the Bulldogs without a bucket for 4:16 (10:20-6:04) and scoring six unanswered points.
Scotty Hopson scored eight of his 11 first-half points in the final 4:28 of the opening frame. Hopson finished with 32 and is averaging 25.7 over the last three contests.
Tennessee turned the ball over just nine times. The Vols have turned the ball over less than 10 times on three occassions this season. Their season low was seven vs. LSU, Jan. 26.

The Starters

Hopson's Career High

Junior guard Scotty Hopson (Hopkinsville, Ky.) scored a career-high 32 points, the most by a Vol since JaJuan Smith poured in 32 points vs. Arkansas, Feb. 18, 2008.
Hopson topped 20 points for the third consecutive game, marking the first time he's accomplished the feat in his career.
He also connected on a career-high 12 field goals and attempted 10 free throws, the most he's attempted at Tennessee. His 12 FGM tie the most by an individual under Bruce Pearl at UT (Chris Lofton, 2x, last vs. Memphis 12/6/06).
Hopson is now tied with Don Johnson (1968-71) for 34th on UT's career scoring list.

Tobias Drives and Thrives

Freshman forward Tobias Harris (Dix Hills, N.Y.) had his best scoring output (18 points) since a 19-point effort vs. Alabama, Feb. 5. Harris has scored at least 15 points 16 times this season.
Harris has hauled down eight rebounds in each of the last two games.

Goins Wanted
