TENNESSEE TIDBITS The Vols are now 61-49 (.555) all-time in the SEC Tournament . Only Kentucky (119-23) has more wins than Tennessee. With the win, Alabama moves to 61-46 all-time in the SEC Tournament.
Since the tournament was renewed in 1979, the Vols are 26-34 (.433).
Tennessee's four SEC Tournament titles are the third-most of any league member.
Only Kentucky (27) and Alabama (6) have won the SEC Tournament more times than Tennessee.

Prior to Friday, their last meeting in the SEC Tournament came in the 2009 First Round as Tennessee posted an 86-62 win.
All-time, Tennessee trails the series with Alabama, 76-66. The Crimson Tide hold a 12-4 lead in games on neutral courts.
Cuonzo Martin is 1-3, against Anthony Grant, with all four meetings coming in the last two seasons.
OH SO CLOSE Tennessee and Alabama played three games this season, totaling 120 minutes and the margin between the teams was always within 10 points. Only two times in the three games was either team ahead by double-figures, and that was when Alabama led by 10 in the meeting on Jan. 26 and with today's final 58-48 margin. The Vols rallied to win the previous meeting, 54-53.
The largest margin in the first meeting on Jan. 12 was an 8-point lead for Tennessee, in a game won by Alabama, 68-65.

STOKES: A DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE With 12 points and 13 rebounds, Jarnell Stokes posted his 15th double-double of the season to tie LSU's Johnny O'Bryant III for the lead in the SEC.
Stokes has the most double-doubles in a season for a Vol since legend Bernard King racked up 19 in 1976-77. Stokes had been tied with Ian Lockhart for the most since King, as Lockhart had 14 in 1989-90.
RICHARDSON REGISTERS Josh Richardson tallied a team-high 16 points for the Vols, his second game in three in double-figures and eighth game this season with at least 10.
Prior to the Missouri game, the regular-season finale, he had not scored 10 or more since Feb. 2 -- a span of nine games.
McRAE'S STREAK SNAPPED Entering the contest, McRae had scored in double-figures in 10 games in a row and 24 games this season. The streak snapped today as he finished with nine points.
He had scored 20 or more in 11 games including five of the last eight.
Jordan McRae is averaging 19.7 points per game over the last 11 contests.
McRae has made at least one 3-pointer in 11 consecutive games and is shooting 32-of-68 for a 47 percent clip over those 11 contests.
