Tennessee improved to 5-2 on the season. The Vols were 2-1 at the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas.
The Vols are now 4-0 when leading at halftime and 3-0 when scoring at least 80 points.
STOKES RULES ATLANTIS
For the second consecutive game, Jarnell Stokes led the Vols in scoring and rebounding. He finished with a season-high 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Stokes recorded double-doubles in all three games of the Battle 4 Atlantis. He had 13 points and 14 rebounds against UTEP to start the tournament. He scored 20 points with 10 rebounds in the win against Xavier.
He has four double-doubles this season, 22 in his career.
CAREER DAY FOR THOMPSON
Thompson more than doubled his previous career high of six points, scoring 16 points for the Vols.
He was a perfect 9 for 9 from the free throw line. His 100 percent from the stripe is the best by a Vol this season (min. 5 free throws in a game).

FIRST HALF ROUNDUP
Tennessee lead Wake Forest 43-32 at halftime.
For the second consecutive game, Tennessee led by double digits after the first half. On Friday,
Tennessee took a 39-26 lead at the half in the 64-49 victory over Xavier.
Tennessee has scored more than 40 points in the first half for the second time this season. The Vols scored 45 points in an 86-60 win over The Citadel on Nov. 18.
The Vols were 14 of 26 from the floor (53.8 percent) in the first half while limiting Wake Forest to 10 of 26 shooting (38.5 percent).
Tennessee led by as many as 17 points in the first half.
SCORERS IN THE FIRST HALF
Darius Thompson hit a 3-pointer off an assist by Maymon to put the Vols up 13-10, a lead Tennessee maintained the rest of the half.
Stokes had a team-leading 12 points and six at the half. Thompson had 11 points.
Seven Vols scored in the first half: Stokes (12), Thompson (11), Maymon (6), McRae (5), Richardson (4), Robert Hubbs III (3), A.J. Davis (2).
Stokes (21), Thompson (16) and Jordan McRae (10) finished with at least 10 points.
McRae, who has led the Vols in scoring five times this year, has scored in the double digits all seven games this season
McRae is now 37 points away from his 1,000th career point as a Vol
