The Tennessee basketball coaching staff has set dates for its 2012 summer camps. A variety of camps are offered for aspiring basketball players of various ages and skill levels, and all camps are conducted at UT's world-class basketball facilities--Thompson-Boling Arena and Pratt Pavilion.
Conducted by Tennessee head coach Cuonzo Martin and his highly regarded staff--which scored more points as collegiate players than any other coaching staff in America (5,381--each camp is designed to help every camper improve his skills through individual instruction in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Rounding out UT's outstanding camp staff will be college and high school coaches as well as players from across the country. Therefore, all attending campers will learn first-hand from experts who know what it takes to improve and develop into an elite player on and off the floor.
Each camp participant will receive a Tennessee basketball t-shirt and basketball and also will have an opportunity to get autographs from the Vols players and coaches.

INTENSE SKILLS CAMP
June 23rd, $60 per camper
This is an intense, four-hour camp designed for any and all kids entering 9th-12th grade who are looking to be instructed/challenged in a highly competitive and intense environment. Skill-developing drills and competitions will be physically grueling and are designed to simulate a high-level Division I competition setting. Camp check-in and walk-up registration will be Saturday, June 23, from noon-1:00 p.m. ET, with camp beginning promptly at 1 p.m. and concluding at 5 p.m.
FUNDAMENTALS SKILLS CAMP
Session 1: June 4th-June 7th
Session 2: June 18th-June 21st
$125 per camper (K-1st Grade)
$295 per camper (2nd-8th Grade)
Open to all students entering Kindergarten thru 8th grade, these exciting four-day camps will be crammed with competitive and fun drills designed to improve each camper's skill and knowledge of the game. Each day, campers will have extensive interaction with current Tennessee coaches and players as they coach stations, demonstrate drills and speak about what it takes to be great on and off the court. Camp check-in and walk-up registration will be Monday, June 4, and Monday, June 18, from 7-8:30 a.m. ET in Thompson-Boling Arena, with camp beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. Camp runs until 5 p.m. each day for campers entering 2nd-8th grade, while those entering Kindergarten and 1st grade will go from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. Campers may be dropped off and picked up each day at Thompson-Boling Arena. Lunch will be served daily for all campers. The Awards Ceremony will be held the last day of camp, Thursday, June 7, and Thursday, June 21, at 12:30 p.m. for campers entering Kindergarten and 1st grade and at 4:30 p.m. for campers entering 2nd-8th grade.

A huge success in its debut last summer, this special camp is designed for fathers and sons to spend a day together learning the game of basketball from Tennessee's coaches and players. Each father and son "team" will be taught proper offensive and defensive techniques to take home and utilize when working together in the future. The camp will emphasize skill development while incorporating fun contests and competitions between fathers and sons. This father/son experience is one that will surely be remembered for a lifetime. Camp check-in and walk-up registration will be Sunday, June 10, from 1-2 p.m. ET with camp beginning promptly at 2 p.m. and lasting until 5 p.m.
