Basketball Camp Season Just One Month Away

May 3, 2013

The University of Tennessee's Cuonzo Martin Basketball Camps begin in just one month. Now is the time to register your child for an opportunity to learn from the Volunteers' coaching staff and players.

Easy online registration is available at, and you can call the Tennessee basketball camp hotline at 865-974-0703 with any and all camp-related questions.

A variety of camps are offered for aspiring basketball players of various ages and skill levels, and all camps are conducted at UT's world-class basketball facilities - Thompson-Boling Arena and Pratt Pavilion.

Conducted by Tennessee head coach Cuonzo Martin and his highly regarded staff - which scored more points as collegiate players than any other coaching staff in America (5,381) - each camp is designed to help every camper improve his skills through individual instruction in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Rounding out UT's outstanding camp staff will be college and high school coaches as well as players from across the country. Therefore, all attending campers will learn first-hand from experts who know what it takes to improve and develop into an elite player on and off the floor.

In two seasons under Martin and his staff the Big Orange have logged wins over six top-25 opponents, defeated the defending national champion each of the past two years, posted a perfect 3-0 record against Elite Eight participant Florida and defeated Final Four participant Wichita State.

Tennessee is the Southeastern Conference's third-winningest program over the past two seasons, recording 21 league victories during that span.

Each camp participant will receive a Tennessee basketball t-shirt and basketball and also will have an opportunity to get autographs from the Vols players and coaches.
