HOF Weekend: Bernard King Enshrinement Info

The 2013 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony takes place Sunday at Symphony Hall in Springfield, Mass., and Tennessee legend Bernard King is set to become the first Vol ever to be enshrined.

King has selected previous Hall of Fame inductee Dominique Wilkins - a fellow SEC legend who starred at Georgia - as his presenter for the Enshrinement Ceremony.

The ceremony will be televised exclusively on NBA TV. Coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET. A complete breakdown of this weekend's Hall of Fame programming follows:

NBA TV's Hall of Fame programming this week includes a series of Hardwood Classics showcasing some of the most memorable games involving this year's Hall of Fame class.

The NBA's official website, NBA.com, will offer extensive Hall of Fame content this weekend, including video of each inductee's speech posted immediately following the enshrinement ceremony. The site will also provide extensive coverage via a special Hall of Fame page with profiles for each of the inductees, photo galleries and video packages.

Multiple NBA.com live streams of the festivities include:
• The 2013 Hall of Fame press conference on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 2 p.m. ET and the Reunion & Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. ET. The press conference will also be available on NBA TV.
• The 2013 Red Carpet on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m. ET, with host Jared Greenberg and NBA.com reporter Scott Howard-Cooper interviewing arriving guests.

It was announced April 8 in Atlanta that King - a basketball titan and arguably the most dominant player in the storied history of the Southeastern Conference - is a member of the Hall of Fame's Class of 2013.

Joining King in the Hall's Class of 2013, as selected by the North American Screening Committee, are player Gary Payton and coaches Guy Lewis, Rick Pitino and Jerry Tarkanian. From the Women's Screening Committee: player Dawn Staley and coach Sylvia Hatchell.
