Men's Hoops to Stream First Practice Tuesday
  • WATCH IT AGAIN

As announced by head coach Cuonzo Martin on Twitter, the Tennessee men's basketball program is conducting a first-of-its-kind live video stream of its first official practice of the 2013-14 season Tuesday. Starting at 2:45 p.m. ET, fans can log on to UTsports.com for a multi-camera peek into the Volunteers' workout.

"I haven't heard of a program doing something like this before, so we're excited to be able to offer this inside glimpse to our fans," Martin said. "It's not only great for the fans, but it also gives an opportunity for the families of our current players, as well as recruits, a chance to observe practice without making a trip to Knoxville. They can watch and listen in from wherever they are around the world."

Martin will wear a microphone for portions of practice and also will be interviewed at the beginning of the stream. Among several guests scheduled to appear on the stream are former Vols shooting guard Skylar McBee (2010-13), strength and conditioning coach Nicodemus Christopher and Chris Dortch, editor of Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook and NBA.com contributor.

Brian Rice and Dani Klupenger will serve as the stream's hosts, taking viewers directly into the different drills employed by Martin and his coaching staff.

Fans viewing the live stream of practice will have the ability to submit questions to @Vol_Hoops via Twitter using the hashtag #TougherBreed. Select questions will be answered live during the stream.

Tuesday's practice stream is just the latest example of how the Tennessee basketball program, under Martin's direction, remains on the cutting edge and maintains its standing as one of the nation's most interactive college hoops programs.

Tennessee enters the 2013-14 campaign ranked 20th nationally in Blue Ribbon's preseason top-25 poll.

This season showcases returning All-SEC players Jeronne Maymon, Jordan McRae and Jarnell Stokes. That trio, along with a balanced supporting cast, positions Tennessee to compete at a championship level.
