Coach's Evaluation:
"The first attribute that comes to mind with Jordan is his length. He has extremely long arms and has learned how to use his length at both ends. He gets his hands on the ball for deflections more than anyone on the team. He's a sneaky shot blocker and he gives perimeter shooters problems when contesting their shots. Jordan is capable of getting hot quickly offensively and can score in bunches. He has a lot of confidence with his shot, but we've talked a lot about shot selection to raise his percentages. I believe we will see a more consistent Jordan McRae this season."

"Jordan has many of the same physical gifts as Scotty. Both are slashers and tremendous finishers at the rim. Both have explosive first steps and the ability to pull up for jumpers. Jordan is a better long-range shooter, which helps him set up his mid-range game. Jordan, like Scotty at the same point in his career, needs to become a more complete player. He needs to improve his ball handling, passing and defense. If he improves in these areas, he has the potential to be an All-SEC-type player, just like Scotty."
