Arron Sears
Offensive Tackle
Russelville, Ala.

One of the most versatile linemen in Tennessee history, Arron Sears started a total of 37 of 44 games in his career at four different positions on the offensive line.

Named an All-American by four different publications in 2006, he was also elected team co-captain and named All-SEC for the second-consecutive year. He posted 71 knockdown blocks during the season and was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after the Marshall game.

Sears’ versatility shined in the 2005 season, when he started at least one game at three different positions on the offensive line and played significant snaps at every spot but center. He was the only Vol named first-team All-SEC.

Injuries plagued his first two seasons on Rocky Top, but Sears battled though pain to start 13 of 26 games, including Tennessee’s 38-7 win over Texas A&M in the 2005 Cotton Bowl. A Freshman All-SEC selection in 2003, Sears played in only seven games and earned one start vs. South Carolina.
