HIGH SCHOOL - Three year starter on playoff teams at South Forsyth High School averaging 10 wins per season. Three time All Forsyth County, two time All Region 6AAAA, and All State selection senior year. Recorded over 200 career tackles and eight interceptions from his strong safety position and played tailback on offense. Selected Academic All State as a senior. Three year track letterman and still holds the school record for the 100 and 200 meter dash.
PREP SCHOOL - Signed a full scholarship with the Naval Academy Prep School and sustained a shoulder injury requiring surgery his freshman year. Transferred to UT and walked on after a year of rehab.
