2010
Games/Starts: 13/11 • After entering fall drills as potential starter at center, saw action in all 13 contests at defensive tackle, including 11 starts • Recorded season highs with 20 tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack • Posted career-high four tackles versus Florida, including stop for no gain on third-and-1 in fi rst quarter that led to turnover on downs next play • Matched career best with four tackles at Georgia • In fi rst career start against UT Martin, provided two tackles and lone pass defended of season on third down of Skyhawks' fi rst drive to force three-and-out • Two of his three quarterback hurries in 2010 were accomplished at South Carolina • Other was in Music City Bowl • One of just three Vols to hurry QB twice in same game • Posted only sack of season at LSU, dropping Tigers back 13 yards on second quarter fi rst down and eventually forcing punt • Notched three tackles versus Kentucky, including assist on TFL • Entered season having just completed undergraduate degree in legal studies and began work on second degree in sport management.
