2009 - Games/ Starts - 12/12 ... Cemented place in Vols lore with 25-yard interception return for touchdown against Vanderbilt on his final collegiate play in Neyland Stadium ... Commodores were in desperation mode as their quarterback tried to escape sack in game's closing seconds ... Brown scooped errant pass just before ball hit ground and rumbled toward south end zone ... For final 8-10 yards, Brown carried Vanderbilt would-be tackler on his back but refused to go down ... Fitting end for team captain after battling injuries throughout season ... Also intercepted pass against Mississippi ... Had fumble recovery against South Carolina that led to UT touchdown, then forced fumble at Kentucky to set up another Vols TD ... Finished season with 20 tackles, including five for lost yardage with 2½ sacks ... Had 25-game streak with at least one tackle halted against UCLA.

HIGH SCHOOL - Named PrepStar All-America and Class 5A All-State after finishing senior year with 97 tackles and 10 sacks ... Had 10 sacks junior season, during which he finished with 83 tackles including 23 for lost yardage ... Three-year starter on defensive line and started at offensive guard as sophomore ... Also played tight end ... Team advanced to state semifinals senior year, winning three straight games after 5-5 regular season ... Also pitched and played first base and outfield for baseball nine.
