PICK-SIX... AGAIN The Vols got on the board first thanks to a pick six by freshman walk-on DB Devaun Swafford.
The catch marked Swafford's first career interception and touchdown.
Swafford became the third Vol this season to record a pick-six and had the longest return of the season, a 62-yard run to the endzone.
The interception was also the eighth of the season for the Vols
Entering the game the Vols ranked second in the country in interceptions with seven (Northwestern-8)
PALARDY HANDLING ALL OF THE CHORES For the fourth game in a row, senior Michael Palardy handled all of the kicking duties for the Vols
Palardy had his first true field goal test on the season attempting a 44-yard FG on the Vols opening drive of the second half.
With the make, Palardy stays perfect on the year in kicks, 3-for-3, as well as extra points 17-for-17
Palardy also added three punts for a 41.7 avg.
ODDS AND ENDS Sophomore wide receiver Pig Howard tallied the third touchdown of his career and second of the season on an 18-yard catch from Justin Worley in the fourth quarter, the Vols second TD of the game.
Howard finished with four receptions for 75 yards both career highs for the sophomore
On that touchdown drive, freshman Marqez North picked up the longest catch of his career, a 32 yard reception from Worley to help set up the score.
After suffering a season-ending ACL injury last season against Florida, Brian Randolph bounced back this year and finished the game with 11 tackles, his second career 10-tackle game. (Career best 12 tackles Nov. 26, 2011 vs. Kentucky)
A.J. Johnson recorded his first 10-tackle game of the season with 10 today vs. Florida. It was his 14th career 10-tackle game
Jason Croom reeled in a 24-yard catch, the longest of his career on Tennessee's final drive
UPON FURTHER REVIEW Tyler Murphy hit up Quinton Dunbar for a 31 yard pass play down the right sideline. After review, Dunbar's foot was inbounds as he made the catch. CONFIRMED
