Coach Phillip Fulmer's Comments on Tennessee's 2006 Signing Class
"I am very pleased with this class of new Volunteers. We addressed our needs for the most part and signed young men I believe will develop because of their character and work ethic. Certainly there are some that can and will impact our team immediately.

"The staff did a good job and our current players, serving as hosts, did a great job when we got prospects to campus. Everyone had to really fight hard, especially coming off a poor season. We all had to show the athletes and their families that Tennessee has been and always will be about winning championships and developing young men.

"As I say every year, the key factors in the success of this class will be not only their phsical ability but their ability to work hard, learn and respond to the demands of social adjustment, handling college academics and new challenges on the field of play.

"It will be a fun group of young men to coach and be around."
