INDIANAPOLIS -- Tennessee's Cameron Sutton enjoyed a strong showing at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine on Monday.
Sutton, who was the last of UT's six players to take the field at this past week's NFL Combine, ran an official time of 4.52 in the 40-yard dash. He posted 11 reps on the bench press, a 34.0-inch vertical jump, a 10' broad jump and a 6.81 time in the three-cone drill.
Sutton also displayed his backpedal, agility, ball tracking and hands in various coverage drills.
Analyst Mike Mayock said on the NFL Network broadcast that Sutton is a very good football player with potential to stand out at the nickel.
Tennessee will host its annual NFL Pro Day on March 31 at 9 a.m. ET at the Anderson Training Center. The event will be open only to NFL team and league representatives and credentialed members of the media.
