2014 Tennessee NFL Draft Central

May 5, 2014

NEW YORK - The NFL Draft kicks off this Thursday, May 8 at 8 p.m. live from Radio City Music Hall on both ESPN and NFL Network and the Tennessee Volunteers are looking to make a big impact on this year's draft.

The Vols have had at least one player selected in the draft every year since 1963 and this year, spanning more than 50 years.

Tennessee ranks seventh among all schools with 334 draft selections, which leads all SEC schools. Florida is second with 312.

Over the last 25 years (1989-2013), the Vols have had 26 NFL First-Round Draft Picks, marking the sixth-most of any team in college football. That mark is also second among all schools in the SEC behind Florida (28).

Tennessee could become the first program to have four offensive linemen drafted in the same draft since Notre Dame in 2003 and Arizona State in 2002. The last time a team had five offensive linemen selected was in 1975, from Nebraska.
