Why I Wore the Number
Tim Irwin
Offensive Line (1977-80)
"I wore number 78 because that's what they assigned me as a freshman. I was in school in 1978 so Johnny Watts (19) and I got some cover time that year because our numbers made 1978. The first real publicity I recieved as a Vol was because I wore this number."
Why I Wore the Number
Ramon Foster

"I wore 78 during my time on Rocky Top and now I wear #73 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Go Vols and have a great season."
