WHY I WORE THE NUMBERClifton Stewart
Offensive Line (1968)
"When I started with the Vols, I wore number 55 because I played back-up center my sophomore year. I wore number 61 when I was switched to offensive guard and tackle. I finally started as an offensive tackle my senior year in the 1968 season in number 61."
