Why I Wore the Number
Marlon Walls
Defensive Line (2009-Present)
"When I got to Tennessee, coach Ed Orgeron gave me number 58 for a reason. I had never worn 58 before, but I did my research and learned that great players like Todd Kelly and Darwin Walker wore 58. It was an honor to wear #58. Todd Kelly and I have gotten really close because of it. Besides 92 (Reggie White), 58 would be the best number for a defensive lineman to me. It has been a blessing to wear the 5-8 and I am honored to wear it. I take pride every time I put it on."
