PLAYER SPOTLIGHTReggie McKenzie
Linebacker (1982-84)
Knoxville native and Austin-East H.S. graduate Reggie McKenzie starred with the Vols in the early 1980s along with his twin brother Raleigh McKenzie. Reggie went on to play with the Los Angeles Radiers and started as a rookie in 1985. McKenzie has gone on to a successful career in the NFL frontoffice. He served with the Green Bay Packers from 1994-2001 as he eventually rose to director of player personnel. During his time in Green Bay, the Packers won Super Bowl titles in the 1996 and 2011 seasons. On Jan. 5, 2012, McKenzie was hired as the general manager of the Oakland Raiders.
