LOS ANGELES - Tennessee's second all-time leading rusher and current Houston Texans star Arian Foster won the ESPY for Castrol Edge NFL Strongest Performance on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
Foster was nominated for three ESPY Awards - more than any other athlete. He was also a candidate for Best NFL Player and Best Breakthrough Athlete in all of sports.
Foster, UT's second all-time leading rusher with 2,964 yards, led the NFL with 1,616 rushing yards in 2010. The 2011 Pro Bowl reserve selection also finished third at UT in career all-purpose yards with 3,880 and holds the career record for rushing attempts with 650.
Foster's 1,650 all-purpose yards in 2007, which ranks as the second-highest total in school history, helped him earn Associated Press Second Team All-SEC honors as a junior.
