Vol Network Offers DVD Pass for Football Season

For the first time in history Tennessee football fans will the opportunity to own every Volunteer football game and coach's TV show for a complete season. The Vol Network will offer a special DVD season pass subscription for the 2009 football season. The 12-volume set will contain the Vol Network television replay of each home and away game, featuring the Vol Radio Network commentary of Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Mike Stowell over the top of the video. As a special bonus, each DVD will also contain the hour-long "Lane Kiffin Television Show" from that week. Subscribers will receive a commemorative 2009 Tennessee Football collector's box that will hold and store all 12 DVDs.

"As the Lane Kiffin era begins, we are pleased to make this unique service and product available to University of Tennessee fans across the country." Vol Network General Manager Steve Early said. "We have consistently been asked by fans over the years for ways to own individual game broadcasts as well as our coaches' television shows. We are very excited to have the plan and the resources now in place to make that request a reality."

UT's talented Department of Athletic Broadcasting staff and a local technology and production partner, AMG, allow for a quick production and turnaround time. After each game and following Coach Kiffin's Sunday morning television show, DVDs for each game will be duplicated and packaged for shipping. Fans will receive a DVD in the mail the week following each game.

In addition to being the ultimate collection for the hardcore Tennessee football fan, the pass serves as a great gift for Big Orange alumni and fans located out of state who have limited access to the games and Coach Kiffin's TV Show during the season. The season pass also promises to be a great collectible as it will document the first year of a new era of Tennessee football under Coach Lane Kiffin.



The Tennessee Football DVD Season Pass can be ordered for $225 plus shipping and handling through the Vol Network's Home Entertainment store at volnetwork.tv. The Vol Network will also offer individual games on DVD for the 2009 football season.
