The Vol Radio Network's "Big Orange Countdown" debuts for the 2009 season Thursday, September 3 at 8 p.m. Eastern / 7 p.m. Central across the state of Tennessee. In its third season, the show is hosted by Bob Kesling and former Vol and NFL quarterback Pat Ryan, "Big Orange Countdown" is a one-hour, prime time Tennessee football preview show focusing on the Vols upcoming game. The show airs during football season for 13 weeks and is the Network's bookend compliment to Monday night's "Vol Calls" program. Listeners will be treated to special guests, comments from Tennessee's coaches and student-athletes along with a scouting report on the Vols opponent.

The show originates live from Wild Wing Café in West Knoxville near the Turkey Creek shopping district. Fans can call in and ask questions by dialing 1-800-688-8657 or Tennessee customers of Verizon Wireless can dial # TENN.
