How will game day traffic be affected this season?
I-40 is closed to through traffic between Hall of Fame Drive (exit 389) and James White Parkway (exit 388A). The last exit for fans traveling I-40 westbound is exit 389, Hall of Fame Drive. The last exit for fans traveling I-40 eastbound is exit 388A, James White Parkway.
Going east,what is the best way to get to UT?
Use the routes you normally use, but remember the last exit on I-40 eastbound is James White Parkway (exit 388A). Three good options are: Alcoa Highway (exit 386B) to Neyland Drive OR 17th Street (exit 387) to Cumberland Avenue OR Henley Street (exit 388) into downtown.
Going west, what's the best way?
The last exit traveling I-40 westbound is Hall of Fame Drive (exit 389). Follow Hall of Fame Drive to Neyland Drive.
Where can I get the latest information about UT game day traffic?
For up-to-date travel information, please tune to Highway Advisory Radio at 1620 AM (look for the Highway Advisory Radio signs along East Tennessee interstates).

Fans traveling I-40 west can use these exits:

Exit 389 Hall of Fame Drive (direct to Neyland Dr.)
UT reminds visitors that all items, including purses, are subject to search at the gates. Fans are allowed to bring the following items inside the stadium:
cushions and seats without arms
diaper bags that accompany infants
small cameras, pagers, cell phones and binoculars
For those driving on campus, Peyton Manning Pass, Middle and Lower Drives, Estabrook Drive and Phillip Fulmer Way from Middle Drive to Tee Martin Drive will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff. Directional parking will be used in Area 9 and Lots 4, 5A and 5B.
