The following is information concerning all pregame and halftime activities surrounding the Kentucky vs. Tennessee football game.

SATURDAY
8:00 a.m. Tennessee Traditions stores in Stokely Athletics Center and near Gate 20 at Neyland Stadium open
2:30 p.m. WILL CALL & GENERAL TICKET SALES OPEN -- The ticket "will call" gate is located at Gate 21
2:45 p.m. Fan booths open
3-4 p.m. VASF office open at the McKenzie-Lawson Center on Level 1
3:15 p.m. Tennessee Park -- Hospitality tents at Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium
3:15-6:15 p.m. Toyota Volunteer Village open at Humanities Plaza
The SportsAnimal Gameday lineup will be broadcast (AM 990, FM 99.1 & 99.3)
4:30 p.m. VOL WALK -- The Tennessee football team will begin its game-day trek to Neyland Stadium beginning at 4:30 p.m. The team, led by head coach Phillip Fulmer and team captains, will leave from the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center, walk up Lake Loudoun Boulevard to Volunteer Boulevard and then down Peyton Manning Pass to the stadium.
4:30 p.m. Pre-Game Faculty Showcase -- Celebrating its 18th year, the Pre-Game Faculty Showcase will offer something for everyone in its fall 2008 edition. The Faculty Showcase is held 2 hours before each home football game and features 45-minute presentations by outstanding faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences. The presentations are held in the University Center Ballroom Room 213 and are free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments are provided.
4:45 p.m. GATES OPEN --All Neyland Stadium gates open
4:45 p.m. LAURICELLA CENTER OPEN --Lauricella Center for Letterwinners open
5:05 p.m. PRIDE OF THE SOUTHLAND PROCESSION -- The University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Band will make its way to Neyland Stadium beginning at 5:05 p.m. The band will marches down Volunteer Boulevard to Andy Holt Avenue to Stadium Drive, stopping along the way to "Salute the Hill," before marching into the stadium through Gate 21.
5:15 p.m. KICKOFF CALL-IN SHOW -- The Tennessee football kickoff call-in show hosted by Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Mike Stowell will begin at 5:15 p.m. on the Vol Radio Network. The number to participate in the program is 1-800-688-8657. Tennessee Cellular One customers of Verizon Wireless can call free at *TENN. The on-campus location is located at the northwest corner of Phillip Fulmer Drive and Andy Holt Boulevard.
6:45 p.m. KICKOFF -- Kickoff for the Kentucky-Tennessee game takes place at 6:45 p.m., on ESPN2 with Mark Jones, Bob Davie and Erin Andrews calling the action.

PREGAME
  • LEGENDS OF THE GAME -- Tennessee’s Legends of the Game, former Vols Shawn Bryson and Cosey Coleman, will be honored at midfield.
  • SENIOR INTRODUCTIONS -- Tennessee’s seniors will make the traditional solo run through the "T."
FIRST TIME OUT OF FIRST QUARTER
  • BLOOD DRIVE -- Representatives from Medic and the Kentucky Blood Center will announce the winner of the 21st annual UT-UK Blood Drive.
FIRST QUARTER BREAK
  • SPIRIT SQUAD SENIORS -- Senior members of the Tennessee Spirit Squad will be introduced.
HALFTIME
  • PRIDE OF THE SOUTHLAND BAND -- The University of Tennessee "Pride of the Southland" Band will perform.
  • HOMECOMING -- Homecoming awards will be announced.
THIRD QUARTER BREAK
  • FULMER TRIBUTE -- A video tribute to UT head coach Phillip Fulmer will be played on the Jumbotron.
STADIUM/PARKING INFORMATION

VOL FAN INFORMATION CENTERS: The Vol Fan Information Centers will be open four hours before each home game at Neyland Stadium and Toyota Vol Village. Vol Fan centers are located at Gates 1, 10, 20 and 21 at Neyland Stadium as well as Toyota Vol Village.

I.D.-A-FAN: The University of Tennessee Athletics Department announced the launch of a new initiative, "I.D.-A-Fan," aimed at reducing the time a child and parent could be separated in the game day crowd. Fans have the opportunity to stop by a Fan Information Booth and pick up a bracelet free of charge.

The "I.D.-A-Fan" bracelet contains contact information for the parent or guardian with the child and the seat location in case of separation in the stadium.

Fan Information Booths open four hours prior to kick-off and are located at Vol Village, Gate 10, Gate 21, Gate 20 and Gate 1. Bracelets will also be available at the customer service booth inside Gate 21.

GENERAL PARKING INFORMATION: There will be no general public parking on the Agricultural Campus during the 2008 football season. Handicapped parking and shuttle service will continue to be available from the Agricultural Campus. All parking on campus is by parking pass only.

Off CAMPUS PARKING/SHUTTLES: Numerous KAT buses are designated for transporting fans to and from the Civic Coliseum, Old City and Market Square area of downtown at a round-trip cost of $5 per person starting three hours prior to game time. There will be eight buses running from Farragut High School off Campbell Station Road to Neyland Stadium at a round-trip cost of $15 per person starting three hours prior to game time. There is also a fare-free shuttle from the Ag Campus.

RV PARKING: The RV park for Vol fans is adjacent to Regal Soccer Stadium on Leinard Lane off of Neyland Drive. The area features spacious, numbered RV spots, electrical and water hook-ups at each space and a sanitary off-load station on the site. In addition, the area features a game day train shuttle transporting RV donors to Lake Loudoun Boulevard. The area is designed to accommodate 50 permanent spaces on 140,000 square feet of newly paved surface.

Each space is available for a commitment of $15,000 to the project. The gift will be made in five annual installments of $3000 on the schedule outlined on the letter of intent. The donors making the commitment must be either current VASF donors or Alumni Association donors.

There will be no recreational vehicle parking on the main campus without a permit. RV's will find parking at the Civic Coliseum and at the Blackstock Street lot located behind the Foundry at the North World's Fair area. The cost is $25 per day, with room for approximately 100 RVs and hookups for 20. Security will be provided at the Coliseum site beginning Friday after 3 p.m. KAT Shuttle service to Neyland Stadium is available. These spaces are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. TYSON PARK: A parking lot will be available for about 300 vehicles at Tyson Park. The park is accessible only by Concord Street and the charge is $5 per vehicle.

DISABLE PARKING: Handicapped parking and shuttle service will continue to be available from the Agricultural Campus. For a handicap parking pass, please call UT Parking Services (865) 974-6031.

ON-CAMPUS DINING: Various food vendors are located at Volunteer Village at the Humanities Plaza.

The Knoxville Police Department urges local fans to leave home at least 3 1/2 hours early.
