The following is information concerning all pregame and halftime activities surrounding the Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee football game.

3:00 p.m. WILL CALL & GENERAL TICKET SALES OPEN -- The ticket "will call" gate is located at Gate 21

3:30 p.m. Tennessee Park -- Hospitality tents at the Joe Johnson & John Ward Pedestrian Mall by Humanities Plaza.
5:00 p.m. Pre-Game Faculty Showcase -- Celebrating its 19th year, the Pregame Faculty Showcase will offer something for everyone in its fall 2009 edition. The Faculty Showcase is held 2 hours before each home football game and features 45-minute presentations by outstanding faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences. The presentations are held in the University Center Ballroom Room 213 and are free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments are provided.
5:00 p.m. GATES OPEN --All Neyland Stadium gates open
5:00 p.m. LAURICELLA CENTER OPEN --Lauricella Center for Letterwinners open
5:20 p.m. VOL WALK -- The Tennessee football team will begin its gameday trek to Neyland Stadium beginning at 5:20 p.m. The team, led by head coach Lane Kiffin and team captains, will leave from the Volunteer Torch at Circle Park, continuing down Peyton Manning Pass turning left on Phillip Fulmer Way and into the stadium through Gate 21A.

Fans can now enter the stadium and watch the Vol Walk from the expanded concourses at the top of the lower level and the upper deck on the west side.

  • Please note that during the Vol Walk and the Pride of the Southland Band Procession the section of Volunteer Blvd. from East Andy Holt Ave. to Lake Loudoun Blvd. will be closed from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. Also during this same time, Phillip Fulmer Way from East Andy Holt Avenue to Peyton Manning Pass will also be closed for vehicular traffic.
    Phillip Fulmer Way begins one way traffic from Cumberland towards Lake Loudon Blvd three hours before kick-off.
  • 5:25 p.m. PRIDE OF THE SOUTHLAND PROCESSION -- The University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Band will make its way to Neyland Stadium beginning at 5:25 p.m. The band marches up Volunteer Boulevard to Andy Holt Avenue and then onto Phillip Fulmer Way, stopping along the way to "Salute the Hill" before marching into the stadium through Gate 21.
    5:30 p.m. KICKOFF CALL-IN SHOW -- The Tennessee football kickoff call-in show hosted by Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Mike Stowell will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the Vol Radio Network. The number to participate in the program is 1-800-688-8657. Tennessee Verizon Wireless customers of Verizon Wireless can call free at *TENN. The on-campus location is located at the northwest corner of Phillip Fulmer Drive and Andy Holt Boulevard.
    7:05 p.m. KICKOFF -- Kickoff for the Vanderbilt-Tennessee game takes place at 7:05 p.m. on ESPNU with Eric Collins and Brock Huard calling the action.

    PREGAME
    • SENIOR RECOGNITION -- Tennessee recognizes its 20 football seniors with a solo run through the "T."
    • LEGENDS OF THE GAME -- Tennessee's Legends of the Game are two-sport star Alan Cockrell (1981-83) and All-SEC offensive lineman Eric Still (1986-89).
    END OF FIRST QUARTER
    • SENIOR CHEERLEADER INTRODUCTIONS -- Tennessee's senior cheerleaders are recognized.
    HALFTIME
    • LETTERMEN'S CLUB PRESENTATION -- Recognition of honorary lettermen and service award winners for 2009 Tennessee T-Club Letterwinners.
    • PRIDE OF THE SOUTHLAND BAND -- The University of Tennessee "Pride of the Southland" Marching Band will perform.
    STADIUM/PARKING INFORMATION

    VOL FAN INFORMATION CENTERS: The Knoxville News Sentinel Vol Fan Information Centers will be open four hours before each home game at Neyland Stadium (at Gates 21, 22, 10 and 1) and Toyota Volunteer Village.

    The University of Tennessee Athletics Department announced the launch of a new initiative, "I.D.-A-Fan," aimed at reducing the time a child and parent could be separated in the game day crowd. Fans have the opportunity to stop by a Fan Information Booth and pick up a bracelet free of charge.

    The "I.D.-A-Fan" bracelet contains contact information for the parent or guardian with the child and the seat location in case of separation in the stadium. Bracelets will also be available at the customer service booth inside Gate 21.

    GENERAL PARKING INFORMATION: There will be no general public parking on the Agricultural Campus during the 2009 football season. Handicapped parking and shuttle service will continue to be available from the Agricultural Campus. All parking on campus is by parking pass only.

    OFF CAMPUS PARKING/SHUTTLES: Numerous KAT buses are designated for transporting fans to and from the Civic Coliseum, Old City and Market Square area of downtown at a round-trip cost of $3 per person starting three hours prior to game time. There will be eight buses running from Farragut High School off Campbell Station Road to Neyland Stadium at a round-trip cost of $15 per person starting three hours prior to game time. There is also a fare-free shuttle from the Ag Campus.

    RV PARKING: RV parking is available at the Ag Campus for $250 per game. Call (865) 974-1218.

    There will be no recreational vehicle parking on the main campus without a permit. RV's will find parking at the Civic Coliseum and at the Blackstock Street lot located behind the Foundry at the North World's Fair area. The cost is $25 per day, with room for approximately 100 RVs and hookups for 20. Security will be provided at the Coliseum site beginning Friday after 3 p.m. KAT Shuttle service to Neyland Stadium is available. These spaces are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.     TYSON PARK: A parking lot will be available for about 300 vehicles at Tyson Park. The park is accessible only by Concord Street and the charge is $5 per vehicle.

    DISABLED PARKING: Handicapped parking and shuttle service will continue to be available from the Agricultural Campus. For a handicap parking pass, please call UT Parking Services (865) 974-6031.

    ON-CAMPUS DINING: Various food vendors are located at Volunteer Village at the Humanities Plaza.
